Effective Screening of Natural and Semi-synthetic Compounds for Target-based Drug Designing to Arrest Progressive Chronic End-stage Renal Failure (Reflux Nephropathy) in Children.

• Role of HLA alleles in pre-determination of Kidney Diseases and Development of Kidney Research Resource Database. (Completed – B.Tech Project)
• Role of Stem cells for the cure of Various Diseases, (With Glioma and Meduloblastoma as examples) and Development of Stem Array Repository Database. (Guidance – Students B.Tech Project – 2008 Batch of Bharath University)
• Modeling Channel Protein Sequences for Phosphorylation sites using H.M.M (Guidance – Students B.Tech Project – 2008 Batch of Bharath University)

• Attended and presented a poster at the “VIII Asia-Pacific Bioinformatics Conference” held for first time in India, between 18th to 21st January 2010, at IISc and NCBS – Bangalore.
• Presented an oral presentation at the “International Symposium on Gene to Vial Concept for Biotechnology based Healthcare molecules” held between 7th to 10th February 2010, at VIT, Vellore.
• Presented an oral presentation at International Conference in Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics (ICSCI-2010) held at Hyderabad on 27th to 30th January, 2010.
• Attended the “First National Workshop On Microarray Data Analysis” with a “Hands On Training” for in Geno-Wiz, Gene-Pro, Gene-Spring-GX and Bio-Interpreter tools, conducted by Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai in collaboration with ICMR, New Delhi, and the CSIR in Feb-2007.
